At the moment of being impressed on paper, typefaces reveal their strongest beauty. Tipoteca’s Stamperia stands in the museum’s building and is visible through a glass wall. It keeps alive the creative production of letterpress works made with vintage typefaces and historic printing (perfectly functioning) presses. The facility equipped with cylinder and platen presses allows the creation of precious letterpress printings of different sizes, from business cards to posters. Paired with our skilled experts, the Stamperia can provide hand binding and custom packaging design. During the year, we host workshops with famous international designers, in order to create an exchange between letterpress tradition and the contemporary world of graphic design.
