Alphabets of Wood is the first research on the Italian history of wood typefaces. The Luigi Melchiori archive, preserved at Tipoteca, was a starting point to go deep into the history of wood typeface factories. To enrich the volume, we chose to insert two posters with original typefaces from the archive.
