On October 9, the National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan hosted the selection of design projects for the ADI Design Index, an annual publication that collects the best Italian design.

The project of the new visual identity of Tipoteca, made by studio Otium (Castelfranco, Treviso), was selected in the category “Communication Design” and will compete for the Compasso d’Oro ADI Prize, one of the most prestigious design awards in the world.

The project
Tipoteca’s new visual identity is based on six different typefaces. It aims to give to the museum coherence and clarity. The work was done for different communication purposes: from the web to the printed matter, including a new photographic itinerary in the museum.
The result is a visual dynamic system in which the different typefaces find an important form of expression.
